MANDUKA ASANA (POSTURE):

The shape of the body of a person becomes like a frog in this asana, so it is called Manduka Asana. Tiptoes get strength by this asana because of which jumping power of a person becomes very much. The practice of this asana gathers flatus air and vital power. Flatus air becomes pure by mixing with vital power because of which the body becomes light.

Technique:
Sit on the floor by spreading a mat on the floor for the practice of this asana. Now bend your legs from the knees and bring at the back side. Thereafter, stretch your heels and join to the tiptoes and sit on them. After that, bring the thumbs of both hands inside and close fist and keep the fist near about the navel. Now take breath and leave the body loose. Bend your body forwardly in a slow motion by exhaling and touch chest to the knees. After that, take breath and return in normal position. Repeat this activity again after taking some rest. This activity should be done 3 times.

Precaution:
The person, who has been suffering from high blood pressure, heart problems, waist and neck pain, should not do the practice of this asana.

Benefits:
The practice of this asana massages all the muscles of the stomach because of which all the stomach disorders disappear. This asana stops stomach enlargement or stomach fat.  It makes the breathing activity normal, so the person, who has been suffering from breathing problems, should do the practice of this asana because it is beneficial. It is useful in case of indigestion and gastritis problems. It provides relief in pain of knees, calves and ankles. This asana provides strength to the tiptoes and increases jumping power of the feet. The person, who has been suffering from high blood pressure and blood disorders, should do the practice of this asana because this asana is very beneficial in these cases. This asana brings out the upper gas through the mouth and lower gas through the anus.
