VATAYANA SAPANA ASANA:
Technique/Method:
The practice of this asana should be done in calm and clean environment. First, stand straight in the position of attention for the practice of this asana. Now bend your right leg from the knee and put the heel on the left thigh close to the waist. Keep the hands downward in normal position and palms in the back side or keep both the hands upward by joining in prayer position. Keep a distance between both the thighs. Keep the right knee downward too. Now keep your body straight and stretched and stand on the left leg. Stay in this position for 1-5 minutes and return in normal position. Thereafter, repeat this activity by changing the legs. Thus, keep on doing this activity by changing the legs.

Benefits:
This asana is useful in preserving the celibacy. It ends the tightness of the muscles. Rheumatism, waist pain and intestinal disorders are cured by this asana. This asana is useful in making the waist thin, strong and beautiful. Pain and numbness of the feet caused by sitting for a long time, disappear by this asana. The practice of this asana cools down excessive sexual lust and stops nightfall.
