Matsayendra Asana Pose: Practice Steps (Method) Health Benefits & Precautions in English

MATSAYENDRA ASANA (POSTURE):
Technique, Methods, Health Benefits, Precaution in English
The practice of this asana cures the many types of diseases and it awakens the Kundilini power. This asana has been considered as the supplement of of Hala Asana, Bhujanga Asana and Sarvaga Asana.
Technique:
Spread a mat or bed sheet on the floor and sit on it for the practice of this asana. Now bend your right leg from the knee and put the heel between the left hip and testicles inwardly and touch to the floor. After that, bend your left leg from the knee and bring it in right side and keep near the right knee on the floor. Now rotate your right hand in front of the left knee and hold toe of the right foot and bring the left hand from the backside and try to hold the right thigh. After coming in this position, bend your head, neck and chest in the left side slowly. Stay in this position for sometime and repeat it again by changing the legs. Do this activity 3 times by changing the legs.

Technique of Aradhda Matsayendra Asana:
If the person feels difficulty in the practice of Purana Matasyendra Asana, he should do Aradhda Matasyendra Asana. In this asana, bend your right leg from the knee and put between the left hip and testicle. Thereafter, bend your left leg from the knee and keep on the floor near the right thigh. Now hold the toe of right leg from the right hand and rotate your left hand from the backside and try to touch your right thigh and bend the head, neck and chest in the left side slowly and bring the chin in the line of the shoulder. This asana is done like Matasyendra Asana. The body is bent in one side instead of both the sides in the practice of this asana, so it is called Aradhda Matasyendra Asana.

Benefits:
This asana purifies the body and helps in awakening the Kundilini Power. Kundilini Power is present in Mooladhar Chakra near the navel in sleeping condition. This asana makes all the muscles of the body flexible because of which strength and energy originate in the body. It helps to cure all the disorders of the small and large intestines, liver, stomach, bladder and cleome glands.
This asana makes the spinal cord flexible because of which a person lives a long life of young age. The practice of this Asana is useful in the treatment of constipation and pain of the stomach, back, hand, legs and waist. It is also useful for the abdomen. This asana cures such diseases as diabetes and hernia.

Meditation:
The person should pay attention on the flabbiness of muscles in this asana.
